We’re thrilled to announce sludge legends Bongzilla at SonicBlast Fest 2026 for a double appearance, headlining our traditional warm‑up party on August 5th and returning for a second, full‑power performance on August 6th. This is the portuguese debut of this iconic band and we’re ready to give them a big (green) thumbs up🔥

Joining the warm‑up festivities on the 5th, we welcome Capela Mortuária , bringing pure Portuguese thrashing energy to kick things off in style. And completing the festival lineup on August 6th, Spanish heavy‑psych travelers Free Ride join the trip with their cosmic fuzz explorations.

We also want to share a quick scheduling update: Deathchant will now perform on August 7th, while Necrot move to August 8th. We know some of you planned your trip around these shows, so anyone holding a single‑day ticket for either date can exchange it for the other day until July 10th.

With these final additions, this year’s SonicBlast is shaping up to be one of the strongest editions in our history, a four‑day celebration by the beach bringing together underground legends, modern heavyweights, and fresh discoveries. Let’s make it unforgettable 🔥
